Dry ice means

Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide (${\text{CO}}_2$). It is commonly used as a cooling agent because it does not melt into a liquid under normal atmospheric conditions; instead, it undergoes sublimation, changing directly from a solid state to a gaseous state at $-78.5^{\circ }\text{C}$.
