Mount $K_2$, the second-highest mountain in the world and the highest peak in India (located in the Karakoram range of Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh), is also widely known as Godwin-Austen. It was named after Henry Godwin-Austen, an early surveyor who explored the region.
