The upper part of the heterosphere is composed almost completely of which gas?

The heterosphere is the upper layer of the atmosphere where gases are stratified by molecular weight due to gravity. The lighter elements rise to the top. The layers from bottom to top are molecular nitrogen, atomic oxygen, helium, and finally atomic hydrogen at the outermost boundary. Thus, the uppermost part consists almost entirely of hydrogen.
