What is a law or rule passed and accepted by a legislature (Vidhan Mandal) called?

A law officially passed and approved by a legislature is known as an Act, which translates to 'अधिनियम' (Adhiniyam) in Hindi. An ordinance ('अध्यादेश') is issued directly by the executive head when legislature is not in session.
