Which was the last year when the Rail Budget and the Union Budget were presented separately in India?

The year 2016 was the last time the Railway Budget was presented separately by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu. Following a recommendation from the NITI Aayog committee headed by Bibek Debroy, the central government decided to merge the 92-year-old separate Railway Budget practice into the Union Budget starting from 2017.
