Who was known as the 'Grand Old Man of India'?

Dadabhai Naoroji was affectionately revered as the 'Grand Old Man of India'. He was a prominent founding member of the Indian National Congress (elected as its President three separate times) and became the first Indian to be elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the British House of Commons. He formulated the pioneering "Drain of Wealth" theory in his publication Poverty and Un-British Rule in India.
