Who was the author of Rajtarangini?

The original Rajatarangini, a legendary historical chronicle of the kings of Kashmir, was authored by Kalhana in the 12th century. Jonaraja and Srivara wrote subsequent extensions to update the history in later centuries, but the fundamental text of that name belongs to Kalhana.
