Rajbhasha means the language of the king or the state. It is the language in which the ruler or administration works. Rashtrabhasha is that which is used by the common people of the nation. The scope of Rajbhasha is limited. Rashtrabhasha is the contact language of the entire country. The public has an emotional attachment to the Rashtrabhasha because the cultural traditions of the common people are associated with it.
